NetworkOptimizer

Allows you to change some values to make multiplayer look more natural. See the videos for what I mean.

Installation

• []Install the latest version of SMAPI.

  []Unzip the mod folder into Stardew Valley/Mods.

  []Run the game using SMAPI.

  Configuration

  • []By default, the mod will change nothing. Open the config.json generated within the mod folder.

    []DefaultInterpolationTicks: Default is 15, my recommended is 6. The higher this is, the more smoothing and lag you get. If it is too low, everything looks like the inside of a washing machine.

    []FarmerDeltaBroadcastPeriod: Defualt is 3, my recommended is 1. How frequently the farmer state (e.g. position, animation) is synced. Lower is better, but will create more load on your network.

    []LocationDeltaBroadcastPeriod: Defualt is 3, my recommended is 1. How frequently the location (e.g. farm) is synced. Lower is better, but will create more load on your network.

    []WorldStateDeltaBroadcastPeriod: Defualt is 3, my recommended is 1. How frequently the world state is synced. Lower is better, but will create more load on your network.

    You can run the command networkoptimizer_reloadconfig to reload the config within the game.

    6,1,1,1 is my recommendation for split screen. Let me know your config values for multiplayer online.
