Do you like the birds which go gobble gobble? Maybe you really need some roast turkey or finally want to cook a turducken in your game? This mod is for you! It adds turkey as a new coop animal.

This mod has optional Animal Husbandry compatibility, with 4 new recipes to find and cook up. These recipes use all vanilla items (+ turkey meat) or, if you have Cornucopia installed, some of them will change to use those items instead or become flexible if you have it turned on in Cornucopia.
This mod has optional effects with Special Power Utilities installed to change the text of the recipe book when learning. It's entirely aesthetic.
By default the Brown and White appearances are enabled. You can toggle on one more below.
Enable Gray Turkey (false by default): Enables the Gray Turkey texture and adds it to the possible turkey appearances.
Q: Why are all my turkeys are error chickens?
A: This mod now requires Extra Animal Configs, allowing the turkey to natively live in the coop. Please ensure you have that installed first of all. If they stay error chickens, you can sell them safely and rebuy new animals from Marnie.
Q: Why can't I add more turkeys to the barn?
A: Turkey now natively live in the coop. If some of your turkeys currently live in the barn, you can use various methods (moving mods / sell & rebuy) to move them to a coop.
Q: Why did my birds change colors?
A: There were some updates to treat all the animals as a singular species. Animals should migrate to the new format, but if the skins are different than what you expected your animals to be, you can change them with the Scissors tool in Alternative Textures.
