Forage of Ferngill

Thank you to those who reached out to me over the last few months. I have been having a lot of troubles with my mental health this year, which has now caused me to lose my job. I am doing better with Medication and Therapy, but am a long way from being able to return to modding.

I am looking for someone who wishes to take caretaker over my mods while I deal with personal issues. It can be a simple maintenance ownership to ensure it works with updates and gets bugs fixed, implement what I could not or expand with their own vision.

Welcome Foragers of Ferngill!!

I really enjoyed the Foraging aspect of the game, but felt there just wasn't a lot to find. So, I decided to create Forage of Ferngill. This mod adds dozens of new forageable Mushrooms, Flowers Fruits and more to the Valley all throughout the year. Some are common, some are rare and some can only bound found in very specific places so you will have to search high and low to find them all!

FOF -- A series of Foraging Mods ***

I'll be honest with you all, I've not been too happy with this mod for a while. When I released it I was pretty much the only new foraging goods game in town. Most forage mods just let you forage existing things that couldnt be foraged, or only added one or two items pretty much everywhere. I created FOF to fill the gap I saw in my world; A mod that added brand new things to forage that were integrated into the world in a way that made sense. I was happy for a while. Since then, Modders like Wildflour or the Cornucopia team have produced some excellent mods, to the point where I don't feel I even get a consideration anymore when people are making mod lists, or recommending mods. I am partly to blame for this as I am not an active member of the Discord or other message boards, but I'm not a very outgoing person anyway. This was a little bit heart-breaking at first, but I have forced myself to remember why I made FOF in the first place. So, going forward I am re-growing Forage of Ferngill into something else. Forage of Ferngill as it is has been "retired". The merged file will still be available for anyone who wants to use it, but I am reconsidering everything in the mod and re-growing eveything. Some things may not be part of my new vision for the mod, we will see.
