HQ female hairstyles

A collection of subdivided hairstyles for female NPCs.

More tris, less jagged edges, hand-fixed clipping et cetera. Kept as close to the original as possible - no color or shape changes.

An absolutely unnecessary mod unless you take close up screenshots or are allergic to spiky polygons.

KNOWN ISSUES

! This mod is unoptimized for low-end PCs.

I simply haven't found a way of dropping meshes with LOD levels back into the game ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

These meshes are in general 3-5 times heavier on tris than vanilla hairstyles (YES). So if you spawn many npcs with real hair, there may be an FPS drop.

HAIRSTYLES LIST

✅ Ciri - fixed bun clipping

✅ Triss - fixed cut hair strands, bangs clipping through her cheeks

✅ Triss DLC6 - fixed bangs clipping through her cheeks

✅ Yen c01 (for travel outfit) - fixed UVs

✅ Yen c03 (for bare shoulders outfits) - fixed UVs, even smoother variant (only encountered indoors)

✅ Keira - mesh still gets crooked near shoulder due to how bones are set up, but at least the rest is prettier

✅ Keira bloody - repainted blood color to better match the rest of appearance

✅ Philippa unsqueezed - optional file with no bandage shrinking

✅ Priscilla

✅ Priscilla wounded - replaced vanilla low-quality mesh with an extended version of her regular hairstyle

✅ Cerys - material / uv fixes

✅ Cerys crown - repositioned the crown to be on, well, crown of her head instead of her forehead (I like it better)

✅ Fringilla

✅ Ves and Ves brunette (some minor chars use this hairstyle)

Hearts of Stone:

✅ Iris - fixed UV clip on bangs

✅ Iris veil

✅ Shani - much less clipping in between layers

Blood and Wine:

✅ Anarietta curls - lots of clipping and see-through fixes

✅ Anarietta masquerade

✅ Vivienne, Vivienne monster - fixed clipping, repositioned upper strands to not dive into the hairstyle

✅ b&w Common c01 - unused in the game, may come handy for custom chars; fixed front strands

✅ Anarietta's Lady in Waiting Ponytail
