That one makes opposites clash — this one makes kindred spirits actually feel kindred. The gap it fills Vanilla does reward shared ethics, but two ways it falls short: it only warms the "open" poles (xenophile, egalitarian, pacifist, spiritualist, materialist), and it treats a fanatic and a moderate as feeling exactly the same about each other. This mod deepens those bonds and adds the human touch vanilla skips. What it does Same-pole empires like each other more — and the strength depends on who's looking at whom: A fanatic is generous toward a fellow believer, even a lukewarm one — they care that deeply about the cause. A moderate is a little more reserved toward a fanatic — admirable, sure, but maybe a bit... much. Bonuses stack across every axis two empires agree on, so true ideological twins become fast friends. A few deliberate exceptions, in the spirit of the family: Militarists and Authoritarians extend only a modest mutual respect — and only while moderate. Their fanatics get no warmth at all, because zealots of the sword and the throne should still be free to turn on each other. Xenophobes get nothing. They don't even trust their own kind. Built to complement, not to pacify The values are kept deliberately moderate. Enough that like-minded AIs can resist the circumstantial grudges that would otherwise drag them into pointless wars — the kind of feud you'd normally have to fix by parking two envoys on them for fifty years. But not so much that the galaxy freezes into cozy blocs, or that the warmongers from the rest of the family stop doing what they do best.
