📋 About This Mod
Ethic Intolerance - Personalities Did you ever think a proud warrior culture would spend the entire game politely picking on empires a tenth its size, while never once challenging an equal? Nah, me neither. This is the behaviour arm of the Ethic Intolerance family. The others change how empires feel about each other — this one changes what they're willing to do. The problem it targets In vanilla, even "aggressive" AI empires mostly only attack targets that are clearly weaker. The key value here is bravery — it governs whether an empire will take on foes of similar strength or only prey on the helpless. Most warlike identities have high aggressiveness but low bravery, so they talk big and pick on the small. What it does It retunes the war-relevant values (primarily bravery, plus military spending and a few combat tweaks) for empires whose entire identity is conflict — so they actually act like it: Warrior & conqueror types (Honorbound Warriors, Hegemonic Imperialists, Slaving Despots, Evangelizing Zealots) will now square up to equals instead of only the weak. Genocidal & devouring types (Devouring Swarm, Determined Exterminators, Driven Assimilators, Fanatic Purifiers, and more) fight far more fiercely — as befits things that need to consume to survive. Devouring Swarms now generate less early threat, so they can actually grow into a menace before the whole galaxy piles on — an overlooked plague instead of an instant target. A few characterful special cases: Xenophobic Isolationists build a real deterrent fleet — leave us alone, and we'll make sure you can't afford not to. Rogue Servitors will now confidently declare war... for your own good, obviously. Someone has to look after you. Ruthless Capitalists throw overwhelming cheap numbers at you — but the moment it gets bloody, the shareholders pull out. Trade Federation energy. Peaceful identities are deliberately left untouched. The point is contrast, not a galaxy-wide brawl. Compatibility — please read Unlike the o
