📋 About This Mod
Now there's an ESM Reactor mod that adds 'supplemental' reactors (Technically habs with power output). Much cleaner than using this mod, check it out!: TN's Supplemental Reactors
This removes the one reactor limit so you can have as many as you want.
Big thank you to kur00e, whos table this plugin is based on.
Installation (SFSE):
-
[]Install the SFSE.
[
]Extract this so the file is placed as "Starfield\Data\SFSE\Plugins\<Name of file>.dll" IN THE GAME DIRECTORY, NOT THE SAVE DIR.[]Or use a mod manager or whatever. Just check the path.
[]Any plugin/DLL/ASI you have will ALWAYS go in the game dir! The save dir's 'Data' folder is ONLY used to override BA2 files.
[]Launch through SFSE. Or use something like SFSE - Launch on Steam with In-Game Overlay if you want to keep going through Steam.
[]Look for the log! If you don't see a log on launch there's a bigger troubleshooting section in the stickied comment.
Installation (ASI):
-
[]Pick an ASI loader:
[
]SFSE ASI Loader (Which seems kinda silly to use a loader to load a loader to load an ASI.)[]Ultimate-ASI-Loader
[]Extract the ASI file to wherever you loader wants it.
[]Launch as per your loader's instructions.
[]Look for the log! If you don't see a log on launch there's a bigger troubleshooting section in the stickied comment.
The plugin will create "<Name of file>.log" in the same directory as the DLL/ASI on startup if it's in the right spot.
This was made for the Steam version!
The ASI might work on GP, this is untested, either the AoB scan works, or not. I am unable to test this.
This is the same "Reactor Count" script from kur00e's CE table here, just done differently as a plugin instead.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust (6,295 endorsements) — this is a must-have for ship builders
- Massive download count (549,287) proves it works for thousands of players
- Does exactly what it says — no bloat, just removes the limit
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated June 2026 — check if it works with the latest Starfield patch
- May make ships overpowered if you stack reactors — balance is on you
For Starfield ship builders who want to push their designs beyond the vanilla reactor cap. Perfect for players who love min-maxing power or creating massive capital ships. Skip if you prefer balanced vanilla gameplay.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using a mod manager like Vortex, just drop the plugin file into your Data folder or use the manager's install feature.
- After installing, load your save and enter ship builder — the reactor limit should be gone immediately.
- Watch your ship's power grid — adding multiple reactors can exceed the available power slots, so plan your systems accordingly.
