📋 About This Mod
I hadn't play this game for years and just downloaded it back recently. Then I found out this mod still works, so I decided to upload it with a permanent version, in which case you don't need to do it manually every time reopening the game. For those who'd like to choose whether to activate the mod while playing could still use the older version.
Functionality:
1. Unlock M class Modules.
2. Allows you to build M class ship.
3. Allows you to modify your ships with M class modules.
4. Allows you to build your ships without length limitation.
5. Allows you to land your ships that are beyond length limitation.
6. Unlocks all stages of Starborn Guardian.
Installation:
1. Copy mclassunlock.txt file into your game root folder (SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Starfield).
2. Copy StarfieldCustom.ini file into your game data folder (Documents\My Games\Starfield). If it shows there's a Starfield.ini file already, move to Step 3; If not, the installation is done.
3. Open your StarfieldCustom.ini, copy and paste "bat mclassunlock" into the file. It should look like shown below:
bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
sResourceDataDirsFinal=
sStartingConsoleCommand = bat mclassunlock
If there's already a bat command, add ";bat mclassunlock" after. And it should look like below:
bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
sResourceDataDirsFinal=
sStartingConsoleCommand = bat xxxxxxxx;bat mclassunlock
For older version: follow Step 1 above, then start game and press "~" key to open console command and type "bat mclassunlock". BE NOTICE: you'll need to re-type it everytime you start game since it'll reset after closing the game.
Uninstallation: Delete either txt file from game root folder or "(;)bat mclassunlock" in ini file or both. If you keep the txt file, you could still choose to manually use the mod by following the step for older version.
Notice: It's unclear what kind of bugs will occur while using it since it is unreleased content of game, so please use it with caution and save your game before using it! (I used this to modify a M class ship on a space station, and the ship crashed the docking area of the station...)
This mod for Starfield removes build restrictions, allowing M-class modules and ships, unlimited ship length, and unlocks all Starborn Guardian stages. It's a must-have for players who want to create massive capital ships without vanilla limits.
