Immersive Sandy

Sandy is one of my favorite characters in the game. Unfortunately, she doesn't have a whole lot going on--relegated to the desert, where all she really does is run her shop. This mod aims to change that!

Sandy now has additional dialogue and has heart events! Five (5) to be exact. And a bunch more if you have the Rival Hearts Events with Emily set to true!

Sandy now has a more dynamic schedule! After the bus is repaired and you've viewed some of her events, she will attend festivals and visit Pelican Town--on Sundays, Fridays, and Tuesdays (in winter). If you have Ridgeside Village installed, she will also attend their two festivals. If you have Surfing Festival installed, she should now attend that festival as well (thanks Casey for granting permission to add her!). If you have the Fireworks Festival installed, she will attend that one as well.

Sandy will have a quest and a couple of special orders once you complete that quest.

As alluded to above, there is an optional Rival Hearts story-line with Sandy and Emily! This is configurable, but is defaulted to FALSE.

HEART EVENTS

2 hearts

Enter the bus stop from 10am-5pm. Must have 2 hearts with both Sandy and Emily.

After viewing, Sandy will begin visiting town on Sundays and on Emily's birthday.

4 hearts

Enter the Saloon on a Friday from 6pm-10pm.

After viewing, Sandy will begin visiting the Community Center (if complete) and the Saloon on Fridays. She will also begin attending festivals.

6 hearts

Sandy will send you a letter asking you to stop by the Oasis. Enter the Oasis from 9am-midnight.

After viewing, Sandy will visit the library on Tuesdays in winter.

8 hearts

Sandy will show up on your porch in the morning (will only trigger in summer or fall if you chose option A in the previous event; will only trigger in fall if you chose option B).

10 hearts

Emily will show up on your porch on a sunny Sunday morning inviting you to her house. Enter her house on a Sunday when Sandy is there. If you have Rival Hearts set to True, this will occur once you have seen the Sixth Rival Hearts Event, and a slightly altered version will play.

RIVAL HEART EVENTS

First Event

You must have 3 hearts with both Emily and Sandy and have seen Sandy’s 2-heart event. It must be at least a week since you’ve seen Sandy’s 2-heart event. Enter Emily’s house on a Sunday when Sandy is there.

Second Event

You must have 5 hearts with both Emily and Sandy and have seen the previous event as well as Sandy’s 4-heart event. Enter town between 10pm and 12am on a Friday in Winter.

Third Event

You must have seen the previous event and have 6 hearts with Emily and 7 hearts with Sandy. Enter the Oasis b
