  What about the daily luck feature in UI Info Suite 2?

  UiModSuite was (likely) the first mod to have a luck-related UI feature back in 2017. When I started modding, UiModSuite was long deprecated. UI Info Suite, its successor, had lost support and was being turned into UI Info Suite 2, which at the time was still in development, working through some bugs, and not on Nexus. Wanting simply an indicator of my daily luck, I wrote up this mod independently with the goal of a streamlined alternative, thinking Nexus users might have the same need. Now that UI Info Suite 2 is on Nexus and configurable, players have choices. This mod is a good choice for players who want a lighter modding experience or for those who are new to the game and still want to learn independently. Some differences: JustLuckMod shows the active luck buff, can toggle without accessing the config menu, and can change locations for UI compatibility with other mods. I have plans to add more balancing features to make the experience super customizable for the seasoned mod player who is ready for a more vanilla experience. This is a much smaller project, and might be updated more quickly come any major changes in 1. 7 and beyond. UI Info Suite 2 is a huge project, and based on GitHub updates, newer versions are still in progress. But, UI Info Suite 2 is a good mod and compatible with this one! I myself will probably play with a mixture of UI Info Suite 2 and my own JustLuckMod.

    Instructions

    1. Download SMAPI

    2. Make sure you have downloaded the most recent version (1. 2. 1)

    3. Unzip the file into your Mods folder

    Configuration

    []Disable (true/false): Whether to use the mod or not (default false).

    []Fortune (true/false): Whether to include the TV Forecast dialogue in the hover text (luck buffs can make the forecast obsolete).

    []Toggle (Left Shift + L): The keybinding used to toggle the icon (resets on the next day).

    []Monochrome (true/false): Keep the original icon regardless of luck score
