Cooked food deserves a place on the hotbar too.

QuickBites allows supported cooked meals to be assigned through Gothic 1 Remake's native quickslot UI. Once assigned, they behave like the game's existing quick-consumable food and remain available with both keyboard and controller.

  Supported Meals

  The following cooked meals can be assigned:

    Requirements

      Installation

      Install QuickBites and PleasureLib as neighboring folders in the game's UE4SS Mods directory:

      G1R/Binaries/Win64/ue4ss/Mods/QuickBites/

      G1R/Binaries/Win64/ue4ss/Mods/PleasureLib/

      The installed QuickBites folder should contain:

      QuickBites/enabled.txt

      QuickBites/readme.txt

      QuickBites/Scripts/main.lua

      QuickBites/Scripts/pleasure_lib_loader.lua

      QuickBites includes a loader that can find PleasureLib in the neighboring mod folder even when mods.txt does not define the load order.

      If you maintain mods.txt manually, both mods can be enabled explicitly:

      PleasureLib : 1

      QuickBites : 1

      Updating from Version 1

      Version 1. 1. 0 adds PleasureLib as a required neighboring mod. Replace the old QuickBites folder and install PleasureLib next to it. No savegame migration or configuration changes are required.

      Compatibility

      QuickBites changes only the runtime item type and quick-consumable classification of the supported meals. It should be compatible with most mods unless they change the same item definitions.

      The mod does not change recipes, ingredients, food values, or inventory contents, and it does not write custom savegame data.

      Troubleshooting

      If cooked meals do not appear in the quickslot assignment UI:

      • []Confirm that both QuickBites and PleasureLib are installed and enabled.[/]

        []Confirm that both folders are next to each other in the UE4SS Mods directory.[/]

        []Restart the game after changing the installation.[/]

              Why?

              A raw potato can use the hotbar, so flawless home-cooked food should not be excluded. That sounds suspiciously like a conspiracy.
