Installation

Install UE4SS - AngelScript Fix first, then copy the zip contents into your Gothic 1 Remake folder so you end up with:

...\steamapps\common\Gothic 1 Remake\G1R\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\G1R_InstantLootAndUnlock

The mod folder includes enabled.txt, so no shared mods.txt or mods.json edit is required.

Config

Edit G1R_InstantLootAndUnlock.ini in the mod folder while the game is closed.

Loot and interaction

• []Enable corpse/downed-NPC loot and open-chest loot independently.[/]

  []Choose whether a successful instant unlock also uses the object immediately. Chests can instant-loot or open through the normal vanilla UI; doors can open from the same press.[/]

  []Assign CTRL, ALT, or SHIFT as a temporary vanilla-interaction modifier.[/]

  Lockpicking rules

  • []Enable or disable instant unlock for eligible chests and doors.[/]

    []Let owned keys use vanilla behavior, force eligible keylocks through instant unlock, or leave all key-associated locks to vanilla.[/]

    []Configure XP, required lockpicks, perk levels, perk-based cost reduction, and minimum cost for each difficulty.[/]

    []Disable requirements entirely or send failed requirements to the vanilla minigame instead of blocking interaction.[/]
