This mod is a fork of G1R Compass UI (v1. 0. 11)

Description

Horizontally rotating compass bar at the top of the screen

Compatible with Patch 1. 0. 4a ( CL 171864 )

The starting point is the mod G1R Compass UI. Much of it has been adopted as is, but it has also been restructured and unstable components have been revised. In addition, the compass’s appearance has been adjusted: instead of a moving pointer, the marker now remains permanently centred and static, whilst the names of the cardinal directions move instead.

  Installation instructions

  • []Download and extract the archive[/]

    []Place the Compass folder into:

    Gothic 1 Remake\G1R\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods[/]

    []Open mods.txt in the UE4SS Mods folder[/]

    []Add or enable this line:

    Compass : 1[/]

    []Start the game[/]

  The mod has been extensively tested over many hours, with numerous crashes fixed and critical areas reinforced throughout development. While every effort has been made to ensure stability, no complex environment can be guaranteed to be completely error-free - Gothic itself and UE4SS may also crash independently of the mod. If you do encounter a crash, please check whether a matching crash report was created in C:\Users\\AppData\Local\G1R\Saved\Crashes. Your feedback helps identify and resolve any remaining issues quickly.
