📋 About This Mod
This is a harvest of all NPCs and creatures in the game along with their stats for the purposes of modding.
Gothic 1 Remake CharacterDefinition Database
A complete, searchable database of the game’s reflected CharacterDefinition objects and their initial attribute values.
This resource contains data for all 1,095 CharacterDefinitions found in the current game build, including humans, Orcs, creatures, bosses, summoned variants, test characters, utility definitions, and other special cases. All 1,095 definitions were successfully located and harvested. None were unresolved. This is primarily a modding and research resource. It does not directly alter gameplay.
What the database contains
The database includes the raw values stored in each definition’s m_InitialValues.
Depending on the definition, this may include:
-
[]Health[/]
[]Maximum Health[/]
[]Strength[/]
[]Dexterity[/]
[]Level[/]
[]XP bounty[/]
[]Mana[/]
[]Super Armor[/]
[]Blunt resistance[/]
[]Edge resistance[/]
[]Point resistance[/]
[]Fire resistance[/]
[]Energy resistance[/]
[]Ice resistance[/]
[]Wind resistance[/]
[]Movement and speed-related values[/]
[]Oxygen-related values[/]
[]Other reflected initial attributes[/]
1,095 total CharacterDefinitions
649 Human-prefixed definitions
192 Orc-prefixed definitions
100 Creature-prefixed definitions
154 other, special, base, boss, summoned, test, or unusually named definitions
32,036 base-attribute records
0 unresolved definitions
The category counts are based on deterministic definition-name prefixes. Definitions without a standard Human, Orc, or Creature prefix are preserved under the Other/Special category rather than being guessed or omitted.
Included formats
The package contains several versions of the same underlying data for different workflows:
-
[]Raw TSV harvest[/]
[]Normalized CSV with one row per definition[/]
[]Long-form CSV with one row per attribute[/]
[]JSON database[/]
[]Lua lookup tables[/]
[]Excel workbook[/]
[]Compact definition index[/]
[]Attribute coverage report[/]
[]Read-only UE4SS harvester source[/]
Combat rebalance mods
The database provides a comprehensive starting point for modifying:
-
[]Enemy and NPC health[/]
[]Strength and Dexterity[/]
[]Armor and damage resistances[/]
[]Super Armor[/]
[]Levels[/]
[]XP rewards[/]
[]Mana and other combat attributes[/]
Complete NPC and creature catalogs
Runtime scanners normally find only objects that have already been loaded during the current session or chapter. This database includes CharacterDefinitions from across the game, including later-game characters and variants that may not appear during an early playthrough.
It can therefore be used to identify:
-
[]Named NPC definitions[/]
[]Generic faction NPCs[/]
[]Orc variants[/]
[]Creature variants[/]
[]Boss phases[/]
[]Summoned enemies[/]
[]Test and prototype definitions[/]
[]Special-purpose or utility definitions[/]
The database provides the raw source values stored in each CharacterDefinition.
These values can be compared against live actor values to determine:
-
[]How difficulty settings modify attributes[/]
[]Whether an NPC receives runtime scaling[/]
[]Whether multiple states share one CharacterDefinition[/]
[]Whether save data overrides definition defaults[/]
[]Which values are safe to use as restoration baselines[/]
The harvested data can help locate and compare:
-
[]XP bounty values[/]
[]Character levels[/]
[]Relative progression between enemy variants[/]
[]Boss and special-character rewards[/]
[]Inconsistent or unusual progression values[/]
The normalized files make it easier to compare resistance values across the full database and create systematic changes to:
[]Blunt protection[/]
[]Edge protection[/]
[]Point protection[/]
