Sleeper's Regards

The Sleeper knows that you are the chosen hero who will exile him, so he will use his power to control the minds of creatures to hunt you down.

🔥 What's New in Version 2. 0. 0 (The C++ Core Update)

  • []Complete C++ Rewrite: Migrated the entire codebase from Lua to native C++ for maximum performance, lower CPU overhead, and rock-solid engine stability.[/]

[]In-Game Config File: Added full support for `Settings.ini` to tweak spawn rates, cooldowns, and ambush mechanics on the fly.[/]

[]Boss Ambushes & Reinforcements: Now, while the player is fighting off an ambush, a boss may appear as reinforcement.. From level 5 to 25, every ambush has a chance to spawn one of five bosses: GolemStone_Bridge, Minecrawler_Warrior_King, SkeletonMage, JuvenileTroll, or ShadowBeast.[/]

[]Reworked Level Scaling (1-25 & +25 Dynamic): Overhauled the level budget system. Levels 1-25 now feature tailored ambush tiers, while level +25 scales dynamically for end-game challenges (replaces the old 1-30 cap). For levels 1–25, it remains a fixed enemy table to maintain balance and the learning curve, but with dynamic characteristics; for instance, at level 5, if you are ambushed by wolves, the number will range randomly from 1 to 4, whereas previously it was always a fixed number of two wolves. Leveling up now also means unlocking new enemies. I've divided level ranges into tiers, so if you're level 15 you're tier 3, having access to spawns of skeletons, minecrawlers, zombies, and more... but you'll still have spawns from previous tiers. The tier you are in will have priority when it comes to spawns. Previously, there was a specific enemy for each level, so leveling up meant never facing that enemy again.[/]

[]Expanded Boss Roster: Expanded total boss encounters with brand-new boss types. With this, all the bosses are covered, and you could face them starting at level 25.[/]

[]Improved Spawn Placement: Refactored line-of-sight and cone-angle algorithms to permanently prevent enemies from spawning inside meshes or visible camera views.[/]

[]Automated Corpse & Memory Cleanup: Added off-map void despawning for defeated entities to eliminate save-file bloat and visual artifacts. The previous entity cleanup system relied more on luck. So it occurred to me that now the deleted entities are teleported to a point off the map and all resource-consuming functions are disabled, and then the engine deletes them after the decomposition cycle. The same applies to entities that are stranded when the player decides to withdraw; all of this has a default time of 60s for corpses and 30s + 2000u of distance for living beings.[/]

[]Smart Safe Zone Detection: Overhauled protection logic to guarantee full immunity when resting in camps, towns, or safe areas. The mod is now standalone; MeFe's Location API is not required.[/]

⚔️ How the Dynamic Engine Works

    • []Level-Driven Budget Formula: Once you pass level 30, handcrafted spawn tables are replaced by a dynamic point budget that scales automatically with your level:

      []Levels 30–40: 20 to 30 Points[/]

      []Levels 41–60: 45 to 79 Points[/]

      []Levels 61–99: 85 to 130 Points[/]

      []Level 100+: 150 Maximum Points[/]

    [/]

[]Tiered Mob Economy: Every enemy in the game is assigned a threat value based on its power:

    • []2 Points: Young Scavengers, Wolves, Goblins, Bloodflies.[/]

[]5 Points: Snappers, Zombies, Minecrawlers, Lurkers, Harpys.[/]

[]10 Points: Swampsharks, Skeleton Mages, Minecrawler Warriors.[/]

[]15 Points: Fire Golems, Ice Golems, Stone Golems, Lesser Demons.[/]

[]20 Points: Trolls, Demon Lords, Shadowbeast Primes.[/]

    [/]

[]Procedural Encounter Archetypes: Every ambush roll evaluates your current budget and picks one of three tactical squad compositions:

    • []The Horde (40% Chance): Floods the field with a massive swarm of a single enemy type. Perfect for testing your area-of-effect spells and cleave attacks.[/]

[]Boss & Minions (40% Chance): Spawns a high-threat boss (e.g., a Fire Golem or Demon) supported by a tactical pack of lower-cost fodder to distract you.[/]

[]Lethal Duo (20% Chance): Pairs up two top-tier apex predators (e.g., a Troll and a Demon Lord) for brutal high-level duels.[/]
