Vanilla: 99 items per stack (weapons don't stack)

Mod default: 999 items per stack (including weapons)

Armor, ore and coins are skipped automatically. Rings stay separate by default (via item-filter feature) to allow equipping multiple rings of the same type.

Existing split stacks in your inventory may not merge immediately after installing the mod! If an item is still split into vanilla 99 stacks, drop it and loot it again so the game rebuilds the stack with the new cap.

This release also includes the optional G1R_ReStackInventory sub-mod (1. 0. 1). Press O during gameplay to merge eligible split stacks in the main player inventory. Equipped and hotkey-bar items are skipped, the hotkey is ignored while menus or inventory are open, and unsafe reads abort automatically. If merging fails, the mod shows re-loot failed - reload save.

Installation

Install UE4SS - AngelScript Fix first.

Copy the contents of the zip into your Gothic 1 Remake folder, so you end up with:

...\steamapps\common\Gothic 1 Remake\G1R\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\G1R_ChangeStackSizeNative

...\steamapps\common\Gothic 1 Remake\G1R\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\G1R_ReStackInventory

Both mod folders include enabled.txt, so no shared mods.txt or mods.json edit is required. Remove or disable G1R_ReStackInventory if you do not want the optional hotkey.
