ACDS — All Consumables Definition System
Gothic 1 Remake
================================================================================
A comprehensive consumables overhaul: 91 items rebalanced with over-time
regeneration, scaling instant heals, REPEATABLE milestone stat rewards, and
accurate custom tooltips.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ACDS redefines how every eatable, drinkable, plant, and potion in the Colony
works. Nothing is left as vanilla. Every item was re-grounded against the
game's actual datamined data.
What you get:
- 91 consumables fully rebalanced: 31 foods, 24 plants & herbs, 20
restoration potions, 9 permanent potions, 1 utility potion, 6 misc.
- Flat HP/MP over time per item (the early-game workhorse).
- Scaling % restoration — every consumable restores at least 1% of Max HP or
Max Mana instantly, so nothing becomes dead weight at 500+ HP.
- REPEATABLE milestone rewards — consume enough of an item and gain a
permanent stat bonus, again and again (e.g. every 50 apples -> +2 STR).
- Accurate tooltips in every language — hover an item and see exactly what
- Vanilla-faithful permanent potions — Essence/Extract/Elixir still give
their base-game amounts.
- Star of the East — the 20th restoration potion, added with its correct
internal ID.

FEATURES IN DETAIL
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. COMPLETE CONSUMABLE REBALANCE
Every entry is individually tuned: HP per second + duration, MP per second +
duration, instant % of Max HP/MP, permanent stat bonuses, intoxication,
swampweed, and buy/sell prices.
Balance model:
- % restore scales into lategame: cheap/abundant food 1-3% of Max HP/MP
instantly; expensive dishes and potions up to 10%. At a 500-600 HP pool
that keeps an apple relevant without breaking a 40 HP early game.
- Flat over-time restore keeps character: each item's flat tick/duration
is preserved as its identity.
- Fruits & small dishes restore small Mana over time (1 MP/s): Apple,
Pear, Grapes, Lemon, Cabbage, Carrot, Onion, Potato, Wild Berries,
Flame Thorn, Bread, Cheese, Rice, Slave's Bread.
- Risky plants stay risky: Trollbane Nettle and Widow's Veil still damage
you while restoring Mana.
- Alcohol intoxicates; joints restore Mana and raise intoxication;
Swampweed adds swampweed value; Water cleanses both.
2. REPEATABLE MILESTONE REWARDS
Consume an item enough times and earn a PERMANENT stat bonus — and it keeps
re-triggering every time you reach the threshold again.
- Example: every 50 apples -> +2 Strength; every 20 Grilled Meat ->
+1 Strength, +10 Max HP; fruits/veg tend toward Max Mana; herbs toward
Max HP/Max Mana (some give Dexterity); alcohol -> Max HP; joints ->
- Stat unit: 1 STR = 1 DEX = 25 Max HP = 10 Max Mana.
- Progress is shown in the tooltip: "Milestone 50: 12 left".
- Counts are per-save persistent: partial progress survives full
restarts, each save file is independent, and rewards apply reliably.
3. PERSISTENT SAVE/LOAD COUNTERS
- Per-save identity (nonce) stored in a GAS attribute
(AttributeSet_LevelProgression. ToughnessA).
- All saves' counts cached in ONE categorized file
(ACDS/state_cache.lua, groupe
