📋 About This Mod
Dark Souls 2 Texture Renewal Project is a collection of Over 2500 Textures that makes use of DarkSouls2LightingEngine to bring a complete PBR Material pipeline to the game. All Vanilla Albedo, Normal and Specular maps was cleaned from compression artifacts present in the original files and Upscaled to 4096x4096 (with optional 2048x2048 versions available).
Along this every albedo texture is now packed with Brand new Roughness maps and Gloss maps present in the original files have been Upscaled and packed along Brand new Metallic maps translated directly from the original Specular textures. Every Displacement map available on vanilla Normal maps was also improved to make better use of DS2LE Parallax displacement feature.
On top of all of that Renewal also includes many fixes to low quality assets addressing texture seams, color corrections, incorrect texture LODs, completely new Normal maps for missing/low quality surfaces and much more.
The Renewal Project now features full ModOrganizer2 support.
