📋 About This Mod

- Introduction -

Healing is a top-to-bottom rework of how heal items, the Blood Pump, and the heal-effectiveness perks behave. The vanilla design has heal items live in your inventory and recharge on a global cooldown, which makes the whole system feel very game-y. Originally the heal items were actually expendable items but 2. 0 messed that up. This mod re-grounds it: heal items are real, stackable consumables that are used up when you use them; the cooldown is gone and the Blood Pump runs on its own per-tier charge system.

The cost of the healing items are set to a base price of €$50 but will be influenced by tier and economy mods such as Economy Punk.

If you use Flesh & Chrome Carry Overhaul then healing items also gain their weight back. There are no artificial limits on how many you can carry; the weight will limit you from carrying millions - but you can if you want to.

TL;DR: Heal items are no longer magical, non-sensical and game-breaking! ✧。٩(ˊᗜˋ )و✧*。

- Features -

Single-use consumption

Each use of a heal item removes one from inventory. No more "infinite charges from one item". The quickslot charge readout reflects the actual remaining count in inventory. When you run out, you run out.

Heal items stack

MaxDoc inhalers and BounceBack injectors no longer auto-merge to the highest quality, and they no longer behave as single permanent inventory entries. Every charge is a real, countable item. You can carry multiple of the same tier, and the backpack shows the stack count just like you can see ammo count. Vanilla's hardcoded "hide quantity for heal items" suppression is patched out.

Blood Pump charge system

The Blood Pump cyberware has its own charge system per quality tier: Common 2, Uncommon 3, Rare 4, Epic 5, Legendary 6. Charges replenish on an in-game-time schedule (default 30 in-game minutes per charge, configurable). Technical Ability reduces the recharge interval, up to 50% at TA 20.

When you have no charges, the pump doesn't do anything at all. The quickslot charge readout shows the real remaining charges.

Heal price overhaul

The new base is 50€$, scaled by vanilla's standard quality multipliers (Common cheap, Legendary expensive) and the Plus tier multiplier. Sell prices follow the same scaling minus the standard sell multiplier. Economy mods such as Economy Punk should properly influence both buy and sell prices.

Perk rework

Seven vanilla perks have been re-bound to drive the new heal and Blo
