📋 About This Mod
Usually, when the plants on your planter become harvestable, they all look like a perfect grid (see images), this mod currently only moves them a bit so it looks natural, and in my opinion, this also makes it so that planting Deep Shroom feels really good :D
This is my first mod and I got the idea from user Flashtoo#8329 at the subnautica modding discord: https://discord.gg/PmnMR4Q
I wanted something simple to start with, I know lots about unity but modding unity games is something new for me.
Installing:
-Install QModManager 3. 0 for subnautica
-Place the NatualPlanters folder from the zip file into your QMod folder. (not the zip, but the folder inside the zip)
Due to lack of time in my personal life (full time work and college) and changing my goals, I probably won't be updating the mod myself, so I decided to open a repo on github with the source code which is painfully simple: https://github.com/Sogekeeper/Natural-Planters
KNOWN ISSUES:
-Some few plants with weird pivot points can rotate in a way that a part of the plant escapes/clips through the border of the planter. The ones I've seen doing this are the Acid mushroom and the gel sack (just a bit).
I might update this soon, remember to always look in the "updated" tab on subnautica to see all mods that got updated recently.
TO DO LIST:
-Fix the issues (obviously)
-Make models a bit different as well

With 339 endorsements and over 11,000 downloads, it's a niche cosmetic tweak for players who want less uniform farming plots. Last updated in 2020, it may not be compatible with the latest game version.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 339 endorsements and 11k downloads.
- Adds subtle visual variety to planters without overhauling the game.
- Lightweight and easy to install—just drop it in your mod manager.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2020—may be incompatible with the latest Skyrim version.
- Only affects planters, so if you want broader environment changes, this won't cut it.
For Skyrim players who notice the repetitive planter layouts in farms and want a quick visual fix. If you're into immersion and don't mind a tiny mod that does one thing, this is for you. Skip if you're looking for major environment overhauls or gameplay changes.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Use a mod manager like Vortex or MO2 to install—it's a simple drag-and-drop.
- Check if your other mods modify the same planters; load order might matter.
- Since it's from 2020, test it in a new save or after a clean save to avoid conflicts.
