Alterra Sea Voyager (UPDATED)

IMPORTANT NOTICE

There is a reason I did not release this update sooner. This mod suffers from many new physics-related bugs due to the Living Large update. Some of these issues are NOT FIXABLE, so please use it at your own discretion, and make sure to SAVE OFTEN!

I genuinely considered scrapping the idea due to how many physics issues there are. You have been warned, so please do not blame me if something goes wrong!

Installation

• []If you do not already have both, please download and install BepInEx and Nautilus.[/]

  []Download the zip file.[/]

  []Extract the zip file.[/]

  []Copy the plugins folder within the download and paste it into your BepInEx folder. On Steam, it is here by default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Subnautica\BepInEx.[/]

  []Launch Subnautica. If you want to check if it's installed correctly, check the in-game options menu, or a mod manager if you have one installed.[/]

  []If you have any trouble installing, please ask for help in the Subnautica Modding Discord server.[/]

  Features

  • []This mod revolves around one new vehicle: the Sea Voyager. Unlike most vehicles, it cannot be submerged underwater.[/]

    []Sea Voyager fragments now naturally spawn in the Kelp Forest.[/]

    []The ship features hands-free navigation, which lets you relax while it moves![/]

    []The Sea Voyager also has multiple large rooms where you can build anything you like.[/]

    []It is solar-powered, meaning it cannot regenerate power at night![/]

    []You can find two Seamoth / Prawn Suit docks on the deck. You can also utilize your vehicle (preferably Prawn Suit) as a diving bell while attached to the ship.[/]

    []Last but not least, you can also place those docks separately anywhere in the world, or at least anywhere above water.[/]

    You will be safe from most threats, maybe aside from the Gargantuan Leviathan. You are free to walk around the inside of the vehicle or the upper deck while the ship is moving, but keep note that this is a major safety hazard. Again, frequent saving is suggested.

    How to dock

    []Make sure the docking arm is extended over the water.[/]

    []Drop the cable into the water with the Down Arrow button.[/]

    []Approach the bottom of the cable with a vehicle.[/]
