WAILA — What Am I Looking At? for StarRupture

Displays real-time information about buildings and machines directly on your HUD when you look at them.

What It Does

Inspired by the classic Minecraft WAILA mod, this plugin shows detailed information about the object you're aiming at.

Simply look at a building to see its current state, activity, and relevant stats.

  Supports multiple building types including:

  • []Crafters — recipe, progress, etc[/]

    []Storage — contents and capacity[/]

    []Power — generation and consumption state[/]

    []Cargo Senders — send interval, progress, and item being shipped[/]

    []Cargo Receivers — incoming cargo state[/]

  If you need to move the WAILA widget, look at a building then press F2 and move the widget.

  Installation

  • []Download the latest file from the Files tab[/]

    []Open the ZIP file[/]

    []Copy the contents of the included Plugins folder into:

    "StarRupture\Binaries\Win64\ModLoader\Plugins"[/]

    []Launch the game once to generate the config file[/]

    Configuration

    Config can be modified in-game using the F2 menu, then reloading the plugin, otherwise you can edit the ini file directly.

    Config file:

    "Plugins\config\Waila.ini"

    • []Enabled — enable or disable the plugin[/]

      []Max Distance — how far you can look to detect buildings[/]

      []Render Building Descriptions — toggle description text in the HUD[/]

      Troubleshooting

      • []No HUD showing — make sure the plugin is enabled in the config file[/]

        []Plugin not loading — check "modloader.log in Binaries\Win64\"[/]
