Yeah remember that WHOLE deal of "This ain't a normal npc don't download it by itself blah blah blah" well yeah now it's an actual npc and you can download it by yourself if you want :) Though, it is recommended you download this in tandem with the other after dark packs.
As of update 2. 0. 0, the shadow now has a schedule, dialogue, and more sprites! He only comes out late at night about 5 times a month and is... typically somewhere around the town so keep an eye out!

The figure's NPC is supposed to be unsettling. He is supposed to be stalking you. This is a yandere mod.

He shows up around town, typically past 8-10pm in random places to spy on you. His dialogue hints at more sexual topics.
He might grab you. He might allude to doing more to you. He might have his lips on your neck. He might talk about following you home. He is a fucking creep.

What are the event triggers, gift tastes, literally anything useful...?
As for events, with update 2. 0. 0, there are none. Sorry to anyone this disappoints, but I'm deciding to keep all shadow-related events within each bachelor's pack to prevent my own confusion...
Otherwise, he's a non-giftable NPC, his only purpose is to startle and to stalk you sometimes. There's no gaining friendship, there's no romancing him.
He is just a mindset I fear; not even a requirement for perfection...

The shadow stops stalking when you run into any one of these:
- Are 7 or higher hearts with Alex
- Are 10 or higher hearts with Sam
- Are 9 or higher hearts with Sebastian
You only need Content Patcher versions 2. 8. 0+
