This mod adds 10 new and unique packs, satchels, bags, and backpacks to Stardew Valley in a lore-friendly way, while carefully avoiding any changes to the two default packs already in the game. This brings the total number of available packs for the player to purchase at Pierre's General Store from the original 2 to a whopping 12!
Each pack, satchel, bag, and backpack is distinct in appearance, and they all vary in cost and size. The goal of the mod is to respect what the game already offers in terms of inventory expansion, while also taking the concept to the next level
for players who want more options in their playthroughs.
Every item has been thoughtfully designed based on Stardew Valley’s myths and lore, with the intent of giving each one its own charm and personality.
I created this mod because I was frustrated with the limited options available for inventory-expanding packs. Most existing mods simply offer recolored versions of the two original packs found in the game. Why should I spend a ridiculous amount
of hard-earned gold, only to receive from Pierre a pack or backpack that looks exactly like the one I already own, just in a different color?
I don’t want a recolored upgrade—I want a brand-new, unique item that justifies the higher price and expanded capacity.
Another reason I decided to create my own pack mod is that many other mods implement new packs in ways that often cause glitches or bugs. With this in mind, my mod strictly adheres to the “12-slots-per-row” rule that ConcernedApe set for Stardew Valley. This eliminates potential issues that could occur if uneven slot rows were introduced, and it ensures that the inventory remains organized and consistent—even when switching between different-sized rows.
