THIS IS NOT A PET REPLACER!

These are dogs with a job, that live in your barn and watch out for the other livestock.

Using Content Patcher, dogs can now be purchased as a seperate animal type, instead of replacing any existing animal. They have a custom bark and dig up truffles!

2. 0 UPDATE IS HERE

This update was a long time coming, because I have been stumped on how to add config options to the dog breeds.

Update 2. 0 adds that configuration, with some notes:

This is a totally new file structure, so delete your previous folder before downloading the update

This does mean that any dogs you have in your barn will be "errored-out" and cease to exist :(

THEREFORE I left the old version of the mod up on the download page, and recommend this new version for starting a fresh save

How it Works: Using the config.json file or GMCM, choose what breeds you want available in Marnie's Shop. Keep in mind that each breed has it's own purchase icon, so the more you want, the more icons there will be!

The dog used for size comparison is from Pet Facelift also by siamece.

I also owe a thank you to Megumi's Barn Foxes which really helped me figure out the coding for this mod.

To-Do List:

- Clean up any stray pixels or jerky animations

- Figure out a benefit for "protecting livestock" (maybe disabling animals getting stuck outside, for instance)

Are you going to make these dogs into adoptable pets also??

Yes! However, it will take a lot of time. These dogs are much bigger than pet dogs, and the pet dog tilesheet is much more extensive than barn animals. It essentially doubles the amount of pixel art needed for each animal. Please be patient! In the meantime, feel free to do any sprite-work yourself.

Can you add "X" breed??

If there is popular demand for something specific, I will likely add it. However I don't want to open the floodgate for requests because there is still work to be done on adding configuration options, etc, to the base
