Better Junimos Forestry

Junimos are the keepers of the forest, and now they can grow a forest or fruit orchard (or just a giant field of turnips) for you.

  Drop a Junimo hut into the middle of your messy, uncleared, unhoed field and let the Junimos sort it out!

  This mod adds 10 extra abilities to Better Junimos.

  Click on your Junimo hut and choose whether it should be for crops, a wild tree forest, or a fruit tree orchard.

  To change other configuration options: run the mod once to generate the config.json then edit it. Or Install Generic Mod Config Menu to use the easy configuration menu.

  (These videos were made with all the settings turned up to 11... big stacks of seeds, lots of Junimos, super-fast working. Don't worry, the default settings are much more leisurely for that laid-back country life.)

  Normal mode:

  • [] collects dropped objects (fiber, stone, clay, ...)

    [] harvests debris (twigs, rocks, ...)

    [] cuts grass

    Crops mode:

    • [] hoes the entire field

      [] cuts down any trees

      [] fills it with crops

      Orchard mode:

      • [] plants fruit trees

        [] clears debris to keep fruit trees growing

        [] when trees are grown, grows crops around them

        []harvests the fruit off the trees, naturally!

        Forest mode:

        • [] plants wild tree seeds

          [] fertilizes wild trees

          [] hoes around wild tree saplings, grows crops in the spaces

          [] when tree is fully grown and seeded, harvests it for wood and replants

          Maze mode:

          • [] plants trellis crops and ground crops to make a maze

            []hoes the ground as required
