📋 About This Mod
This mod lets you collect hay even if your silos are full or you don't have any silos. Also lets you pull hay from hoppers even if all animal feed locations are full. It has config options to fine tune what you want the mod to do (i.e. disable hay dropping on the ground if you have no room in your inventory or disable the hopper changes). Look at config.json for more info!
With default settings, hay first goes to silos, then if those are full it goes to your inventory, then if that is full it drops on the ground.
You still need a scythe to get hay!
In the latest version, there is a config option (ChanceToDropGrassStarterInsteadOfHay) that lets you specify a number between 0 and 1 - this is the percent to drop a grass starter instead of hay.
In multiplayer, if any player enables getting hay from hoppers anytime (note that this is enabled by default), every player must have the mod installed. If you only use the collecting hay when no/full silos feature, then you can just have the mod and it will work fine.
This mod requires SMAPI by Pathoschild. To install the mod, place the BetterHay folder in your Stardew Valley/Mods folder.
