Performance Enhancer

Performance Enhancer changes a selection of graphics related parameters to improve performance without compromising quality.

This mod includes both a gameparameter file and a graphicsconfig file.

Changes

Graphics Config

• []Texture Filtering - Reduced to 1 on Low

  []Shadow Quality - Reduced size to 64-256 on Low

  []Lighting Quality - Half light distance on Low

  []Effect Quality - Half Lods and reduced emission scale on Low

• []GrassLodRangeParam - Reduced grass Lods and shadow distances

  []LodParam - Reduced Lods by half and reduced shadow distances

  Graphicsconfig changes are only applied when the matching options are set to Low in the in-game graphics settings.

  Param changes are always applied as long as the mod is active.

  I have included two versions of the mod:

  • []Default version which reduces Lods and shadow distances by about one half.

    []No Shadows version, which disables all shadows for maximum performance.

    A full set of .csv files is available for all modified parameters, if you wish to merge the mod yourself!

    I created this mod to maximize performance on Steam Deck, and I find that it helps a lot with hitting 60 FPS. This mod should be especially helpful in late game areas when particle effects and lights become very abundant. You can combine this mod with the popular Low Resolution Texture mod for maxmium performance.

    Installation

    • []First, install Sekiro Mod Engine, following that mod's install directions.

      []If you haven't already, create a folder called 'mods' in your game folder (where Sekiro.exe is)

      []Download the Performance Mod of your choice.

      []Open the downloaded PerformanceMod.zip file and copy the param folder into your new mods folder.

    • Launch the game! Your mods should be active.
