Custom Arcade Cabinet based on The Terminator (1984) featuring a fully themed design inspired by the original film. Includes immersive attract mode audio and enhanced NPC gameplay sound effects for a more cinematic arcade experience. This mod replaces the vanilla cabinets: Maze Munch, Orc Invaders, and Rampart Rage.

The Terminator never received an official arcade cabinet, so this design reimagines what could have existed during the era by blending artwork and styling inspired by the Sega Genesis and Sega CD releases.

  To support the concept, the cabinet is framed within a fictional “what if” history:

  Virgin Games — Japan Test Market — 1993

  Following the success of The Terminator on Mega Drive and Mega CD, Sega and Virgin Games reportedly explored an experimental arcade concept aimed at merging film and gameplay.

  Inspired by cinematic arcade titles like Dragon’s Lair, the project aimed to blur the line between game and movie.
