Wing Pack Overhaul

Description

The Wing Pack is Palworld's jetpack-style glider. Normally it unlocks very late and burns fuel canisters you have to keep crafting forever. This mod moves it up to level 13, right after your first hang glider,  and turns the fuel into a one-time craft: you make a single Wing Pack Fuel, and the mod quietly gives it back every time you land, so you never have to make another one.

Flight time isn't a flat number anymore either. By default it scales with your Stamina stat — a fresh character gets roughly the vanilla glide time, and it grows as you level up. Fuel drain can also ease off as you level, so the pack feels thirsty when you first get it and more efficient later on.

This is an evolution of my earlier "Early Wing Pack" mod, which only changed the unlock level and recipe. Wing Pack Overhaul adds everything above on top. They're kept as separate mods on purpose; some people just want the simple version. So install one or the other, not both.

Settings worth knowing about

All in Scripts\config.lua. Plain text with a one-line note on every setting. Changes take effect the next time you save (a few internal ones want a game restart and say so).

• []Unlock level & recipe — when the Wing Pack becomes craftable and what it costs. These live in the PalSchema files next door, not config.lua.[/]

  []Flight length vs. Stamina — on by default. Turn it off for one fixed flight time for everyone, or adjust how much each Stamina point is worth and the shortest/longest a glide can ever be.[/]

  []Fuel drain speed — how fast the bar empties while gliding and while boosting. Use one flat rate, or switch on the level curve so the pack starts inefficient at level 13 and improves as you level.[/]

  []The never-craft-again refill — how many fuel canisters it keeps you stocked with, whether it restocks from a totally empty inventory, and a short cooldown / "must be on the ground first" rule so you can't instantly relaunch.[/]

  []Fixed flight length — if you turn Stamina scaling off, set an exact flight duration and fuel regen rate instead.[/]

  Manual Installation

  1. PalSchema Installation

  🔹 Install PalSchema. Follow the official PalSchema installation instructions for further guidance. Skip this step if you already have it installed.

  2. UE4SS Installation

  🔹 Install the latest experimental UE4SS. Skip this step if you already have it installed.

  3. Mod Installation

  🔹 Open your Palworld installation directory. On Steam, you can right-click the game, select Manage > Browse local files. Should be similar for other platforms.

  🔹 Download the mod. The files in the zip are already structured to drop right into the Palworld folder.
