Moving Eat Fix

Keep moving while you eat.

Ever take a bite while running and find your character stuck in that stiff eating pose? Moving Eat Fix smoothly blends out the vanilla female eating animation while you move. Stop for a snack and the normal eating animation stays intact.

What it does

  []Also handles starting a snack while standing still, then beginning to move.[/]

  []Leaves food use, food effects, inventory and saves controlled by the game.[/]

  Requirements and installation

  Requires a working Palworld-compatible UE4SS installation. PalSchema is not required.

  Close Palworld, open its game folder and extract the main download there, merging the included Pal folder. The final script path should be:

  Pal\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\MovingEatFix\Scripts\main.luaThe MovingEatFix folder should also contain enabled.txt. Launch the game and load your world.

  This download uses the manual Win64 UE4SS layout. Use one installation method for Moving Eat Fix, and only one UE4SS loader. To remove this version, close the game and delete only the MovingEatFix folder.

  Steam Workshop

  Prefer Workshop installation? Use Moving Eat Fix on Steam Workshop and its required UE4SS Workshop item. Use only one installation method.

  Tested behavior and current limits

  Tested on Windows Steam with the vanilla female player animation. Testing covered stationary eating, moving on foot and mounted, beginning to move while eating, swimming, tools, weapons, weapon switching and Pal Sphere throwing. Logs confirmed loading and recovery across map transitions.

  Other body types, replacement eating animations, Game Pass, Linux/Proton and online multiplayer have not been independently verified. This is a local player visual adjustment; it is not intended for installation on a dedicated server.

  Stopping the animation can also cut its animation-linked eating sound. Replacement audio is disabled in this release. Mods that replace the eating animation may conflict.
