📋 About This Mod

A configurable helping hand for your adventures: collect eligible nearby drops, Pal eggs, Effigies, Journals and chests within 12 metres. Includes original collectible sounds, named Journal notices and paced recovery of saved drops. Windows

Adventurer's Helping Hand

Sensible autolooting. More adventuring, less stopping to pick things up.

Helping Hand collects eligible nearby loot within 12 metres while you explore. Choose what it collects with a simple in-game switchboard: worthwhile drops, materials, Pal eggs, Effigies, Journal entries, roadside junk and ordinary chests. Food and basic building materials are separate options, so your inventory fills with what you actually want.

Public beta 0. 0. 47 — tested on Windows Steam in local single-player.

This first release includes the saved-ranch-drop repair, paced startup recovery, original collectible sounds and a notification naming each automatically collected Journal.

What it does

  • []Collects eligible loot inside a true 12-metre sphere, including while mounted.[/]

[]Lets you switch collection groups on or off independently and remembers your choices.[/]

[]Recovers eligible items already on the ground after loading a save, once their live objects are ready.[/]

[]Spreads recovery work across updates to reduce concentrated work during loading and world transitions.[/]

[]Plays the original Effigy and Journal completion sounds after confirmed automatic collection.[/]

[]Shows the collected Journal's name in the notification feed.[/]

[]Supports ordinary keyed chests with their normal key checks; special-event and nonordinary chests are excluded.[/]

    Choose your loot

The switchboard includes Worthwhile Drops, Food & Ingredients, Early-Game Essentials, Natural Materials, Pal Materials, Production Materials, Pal Eggs, Effigies, Journal Entries, Roadside Junk, and chest options.

Food & Ingredients and Early-Game Essentials start OFF. Early-Game Essentials covers Wood, Stone and Fiber. Turn either group on when you want it.

Pal Eggs cycles through OFF, ALL, LARGE (Large and Huge), and HUGE. Base Quiet starts OFF; when enabled, it pauses collection inside an active Palbox boundary and its configured margin. Leave Base Quiet OFF when you want ranch collection.

    Controls

    • []Alt + H: turn Helping Hand on or off.[/]

[]H: select the next setting and display its current state.[/]

      []Shift + H: change the selected setting.[/]

      []Alt + Shift + H: toggle Early-Game Essentials directly.[/]

Your choices are saved locally between sessions. The main configuration file also contains advanced settings.

    Requirements — read before installing

This beta targets UE4SS v3. 0. 1 Beta #0, build ba2efd55. The bundled native sound helper was built and tested against that runtime. Compatibility with newer or different UE4SS builds has not been established.

Use the tested Okaetsu experimental-palworld release, with the UE4SS-Palworld.zip user package. Check the build shown near the start of UE4SS.log. The newer 2281fa31 release is a different build and is not this beta's validated sound-helper target.

Requires the manual Windows Win64 UE4SS layout. Do not run a second UE4SS loader alongside a Workshop UE4SS installation. PalSchema is not required. This download is not a Steam Workshop package.

    Installation and updates

    • []Fully close Palworld.[/]

[]Open the Palworld game folder. Extract this mod's ZIP there so the included Pal folder merges with the existing Pal folder.[/]

[]If updating an earlier Helping Hand test, back up your existing mod folders and any edited config.lua first, then allow the supplied files to be replaced.[/]

[]Keep AdventureAutoLoot_State.ini in the Scripts folder to preserve your switchboard choices. This download does not contain or overwrite that state file.[/]

[]Restart Palworld completely and load your world. Give the world a brief moment to settle before collection resumes.[/]

The final mod folders should be:

      Pal\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\AdventureAutoLoot

      Pal\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\HelpingHandOriginalAudio

The original AdventureAutoLoot folder name is intentional. Install only one active copy. The ZIP includes both the Lua mod and its sound helper; it does not include UE4SS itself.

      Sounds, Journal notices and inventory

Closely timed collectible sounds are queued so a cue can finish. The sound helper uses Windows application audio and does not follow Palworld's internal sound-effects slider.

Journal notices use the game's localiz
