Adventurer's Helping Hand
Sensible autolooting. More adventuring, less stopping to pick things up.
Helping Hand collects eligible nearby loot within 12 metres while you explore, including while mounted. Choose what it collects with a simple in-game switchboard: worthwhile drops, materials, Pal eggs, Effigies, Journal entries, roadside junk and ordinary chests. Food and basic building materials are separate options, so your inventory fills with what you actually want.
Version 1. 0. 0 — stable release for Windows Steam local single-player.
What's new in 1. 0. 0
-
[]Better-paced collection checks in crowded areas, with duplicate discovery notifications combined.[/]
[]More efficient object lookups and improved recovery of eligible saved or temporarily unavailable drops.[/]
[]Quieter, complete Effigy and Journal cues with quicker automatic-collection confirmation checks.[/]
[]More reliable sound acknowledgements, corrected callback handling and detection of conflicting custom key bindings.[/]
[]Optional performance diagnostics are off by default.[/]
Choose your loot
Collection uses a true 12-metre sphere and the game's native interactions. Each group can be switched independently, and your choices are remembered between sessions. Eligible saved drops are recovered after their live objects become ready. Ordinary keyed chests keep their normal key checks; special-event and nonordinary chests are excluded.
The switchboard includes Worthwhile Drops, Food & Ingredients, Early-Game Essentials, Natural Materials, Pal Materials, Production Materials, Pal Eggs, Effigies, Journal Entries, Roadside Junk, and chest options.
Food & Ingredients and Early-Game Essentials start OFF. Essentials covers Wood, Stone and Fiber. Pal Eggs cycles through OFF, ALL, LARGE (Large and Huge), and HUGE.
Base Quiet starts OFF. When enabled, it pauses collection inside an active Palbox boundary and its configured margin. Leave Base Quiet OFF when you want ranch collection.

Requirements and installation
Requires the manual Windows Win64 installation of Okaetsu's Palworld-specific UE4SS build 2281fa31, the build used for current gameplay testing. Use its UE4SS-Palworld.zip user package. PalSchema is not required.
-
[]Fully close Palworld and back up any edited config.lua and your saved switchboard file.[/]
[]Extract this mod's ZIP into the Palworld game folder so its Pal folder merges with the existing one. Allow supplied mod files to be replaced.[/]
[]Keep AdventureAutoLoot_State.ini. The download does not contain that file, so existing switchboard choices are preserved.[/]
[]Restart Palworld completely, load your world and allow a brief settling period.[/]
The final mod folders should be:
Pal\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\AdventureAutoLoot
Pal\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\HelpingHandOriginalAudio
Both the Lua mod and its sound helper are included; UE4SS itself is not. The internal AdventureAutoLoot folder name is intentional. Use one active Helping Hand copy and one UE4SS loader. Keep manual and Workshop installation methods separate. The Steam Workshop edition provides its own deployment layout.
Sounds, Journal notices and inventory
Effigy and Journal sounds follow confirmed automatic collection. Closely timed sounds are queued so the complete cue can finish. The sound helper uses Windows application audio and does not follow Palworld's internal sound-effects slider.
Journal notices use the game's localized title when available, with an English fallback. English notices have been checked in-game; other display languages have not been visually tested.
When Palworld's native stop-pickup-on-overflow-weight option is enabled, Helping Hand checks the complete loose-drop payload against remaining weight capacity before requesting it. Chest and roadside-junk contents are not covered by that advance weight check.
