Moonlight Peaks has no daytime.

This mod gives it one. 🌞

🌅 A Whole New Day

You now wake at 7:00 AM instead of 6:00 PM, giving you an entire morning, noon and afternoon that Moonlight Peaks has never had before. 🌻

When evening arrives, the game returns to the familiar night you already know and love. The day still ends at 6:00 AM, exactly as it always has.

🕰️ Why This Isn’t Just “Stay Up Later”

Moonlight Peaks normally runs from 18:00 to 06:00—a twelve-hour playable night.

Every other hour is unreachable. The game’s day-progress is clamped at 1. 0, and that limit lands exactly on 6:00 AM—the clock physically cannot advance beyond it.

Simply suppressing forced sleep wouldn’t create more time. It would freeze the clock at 6:00 AM and leave your poor vampire standing there forever. 🧛‍♀️💭

Day Walker solves this differently:

It moves the beginning of the day backward.

07:00 ☀️ → 🌙 06:00

Instead of stretching the night, you wake at 7:00 AM and receive a complete twenty-three-hour day, running from dawn to dawn.

Nothing about the ending needed to change—because the ending was never the problem. ✨

☀️ And Yes… The Sun Had to Be Built

Moonlight Peaks normally uses lavender evening lighting at every hour. It never becomes brighter than dusk, and its sun remains pinned in place.

It’s a vampire game. Nobody expected the poor thing to need a working sun. 🦇

So Day Walker brings its own.

During the newly added daylight hours, the mod controls the sun’s:

  Once the original evening begins, the mod steps aside.

    🏘️ About the Townspeople

    The townspeople remain where they are during the newly added daytime hours, and you can still speak to every one of them.

    Their schedules were created around evening and night—the only times of day Moonlight Peaks originally contained. The game has no instructions telling someone what to do at eleven in the morning, so they simply hold their existing positions.
