Getting Moonlight Peaks set up for mods shouldn't require digging through folders, manually creating directories, or figuring out where BepInEx goes.

Mod and BepInEx Installer is a simple standalone utility that handles the setup for you.

✨ What It Does

🔧 Install BepInEx

Point the installer at your Moonlight Peaks game folder and let it handle the BepInEx installation.

No manual folder creation.

No hunting for the correct files.

No guessing where everything goes.

📦 Install Mods

Once BepInEx is installed, simply drag and drop a mod onto the installer.

The installer handles placing the mod files where they belong.

The goal is to make getting started with Moonlight Peaks modding as painless as possible — especially if you've never used BepInEx before.

🚀 How To Use

First-time setup

1. Find your Moonlight Peaks game folder.

Open Steam and locate the game's installation directory.

2. Launch the installer.

3. Select your Moonlight Peaks game folder.

4. Click Install under BepInEx.

The installer will set up the required BepInEx framework.

Installing a mod

Once BepInEx is installed:

1. Download a Moonlight Peaks mod.

2. Drag and drop the mod onto the installer.

3. Launch Moonlight Peaks.

Find your game → Install BepInEx → Drag in a mod → PROFIT.

🖥️ Steam Deck

The installer can also be used on Steam Deck.

Add the installer as a non-Steam game, then configure its compatibility settings to use Proton before running it.

❓ Troubleshooting

The installer can't find my game

Make sure you select the folder containing the Moonlight Peaks game executable rather than the Steam library's top-level folder.

BepInEx isn't loading

Make sure you have launched Moonlight Peaks at least once after installing BepInEx.

If you're still having trouble, check the BepInEx log and report the issue on the Posts tab.

A mod isn't working

Make sure the mod is intended for Moonlight Peaks and that BepInEx is installed correctly.

Some mods may have additional requirements.
