Save Anywhere forces Moonlight Peaks to save immediately from almost anywhere, using a key of your choice.

The developers have warned that forced manual saves can bypass the game’s normal save-safety and migration systems. Because this mod asks the game to save at a time it did not choose itself, using it carries additional risk.

⚠ WHY THIS MATTERS

Save problems do not always appear immediately. A save may seem completely normal at first, only for an issue to reveal itself much later in the playthrough.

This does not mean every forced save will cause a problem. It means that no mod author can honestly promise that forcing the game to save will always be safe.

🛡 SAFETY CHECKS

Before allowing a save, the mod checks whether you are:

✦ In a cutscene or conversation

✦ Moving between areas

✦ Viewing a loading screen

✦ Inside a menu

✦ In paused, frozen or unusual game time

If one of these conditions is detected, the mod refuses to save and tells you why.

⚠ WHAT IT CANNOT GUARANTEE

These protections observe the game from the outside. They are not the developers’ complete internal save and migration system, and there may be unsafe conditions that the mod cannot detect.

The safety checks reduce the chance of a badly timed save, but they cannot guarantee that every forced save will be safe.

💜 BACKUPS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED

Keep regular backups of your saves while using this mod.

Serena’s Save Keeper pairs well with Save Anywhere for this purpose, or you can manually copy your save folder from time to time.

A backup cannot prevent a problem, but it can keep a rare mistake from costing you an entire playthrough.

Use Save Anywhere at your own discretion.

If you do not want to accept the additional risk, the safest option is to let Moonlight Peaks save normally and skip this mod.
