📖 Serena's Grimoire

Press F1 to open a custom dark spellbook containing your spell index, settings, controls, wheel order and lore for every ritual.

💌 Mysterious Unlock Letter

When you enter your save, you receive a letter from Serena explaining that your character's parents once saved her life. Her old grimoire has been left behind as repayment.

🩸 Ritual Wheel

Hold R to open the ritual wheel, release it to select a spell, then tap R to cast your chosen ritual.

⏸️ The Wheel Stops the Clock

The in-game clock pauses while the wheel is open, so choosing a spell never costs you daylight. This uses the game's own time blocker and safely composes with Time Freeze. It can be disabled in Settings.

🎮 Full Controller Support

Use the right stick to aim around the wheel or the D-pad to step between rituals. Xbox, PlayStation and Steam Deck controls work without extra setup.

⌨️ Rebindable Everything

Open F1 → Controls, click a binding, then press any keyboard key, mouse button or controller button.

Escape cancels.

Reset restores the default.

Changes save immediately.

⚖️ Base-Game Rules

By default, spells respect the game's normal tool requirements. You cannot mine rocks your pickaxe cannot break or catch fish without a fishing rod.

Prefer fewer restrictions? Turn the rule off with one click.

🎛️ In-Book Settings

Every important option for every spell lives inside the grimoire. Settings are color-coded by ritual and apply to your next cast without restarting.

🔮 THE RITUALS

🦇 Bat Swarm

Sends a shrieking cloud of bats forward to gather pickups, harvest crops, shake trees and collect fish or critters in its path.

🪦 Grave Digger

Opens a 5×5 patch of earth with purple graveyard magic, upheaved soil and rising gravestones. The ritual aligns with the shovel's normal digging grid.

🌸 Grave Filler

Closes a 5×5 patch of dug ground with green restoration magic and a bloom of spectral flowers. Planted crops are skipped safely.

☠️ Death's Grasp

Summons spectral scythes, axes and pickaxes in a necrotic wave that cuts grass, fells trees, shatters stone and gathers what remains.

Skeletal hands claw through the soil to lend a few extra fingers.

🌱 Breath of Life

Exhales spectral spring. Nearby crops and mushrooms mature, trees grow to full height, fruit returns and shakeable trees become ready to drop seeds.

Calls down violet lightning to instantly finish nearby
