• []Hunger, Thirst & Exhaustion: Survival values follow the actual in-game clock.[/]

  []Field bottle: A refillable four-sip bottle is shown directly in the HUD. Press H to drink or refill it while standing in water.[/]

  []Wash in water: Press L while standing in water to wash yourself. Press it again to stop.[/]

  []Real consequences: Hunger, Thirst and Exhaustion can cause health loss, reduced maximum health, slower movement and collapse.[/]

  []Fall injuries: Dangerous falls can cause light, medium or severe injuries.[/]

  []Sleep matters: Sleep restores Exhaustion and heals injuries over time, but Hunger and Thirst still matter.[/]

  []Customizable HUD: Move and resize the survival HUD or attach it to the game's health bar.[/]

  []F2 settings: Configure survival systems directly in-game with SharedModMenu.[/]

OVERVIEW

Survive2Explore adds Hunger, Thirst, Exhaustion, fall injuries and a refillable field bottle to Gothic 1 Remake.

Everything follows the actual in-game clock. Pausing does not drain your values, while sleeping and time skips are handled through game time.

Your survival progress is stored with the current playthrough and your settings remain available after restarting the game.

HOW SURVIVAL WORKS

• []Hunger: About 24 in-game hours from full to empty.[/]

  []Thirst: About 16 in-game hours from full to empty.[/]

  []Exhaustion: About 18 waking in-game hours from fully rested to exhausted.[/]

  []Sleeping: About eight hours restores Exhaustion. Hunger and Thirst continue to decrease more slowly while sleeping.[/]

  []Food & drinks: Different consumables restore different amounts. Supported items show their values directly in the inventory.[/]

  []Field bottle: Holds four sips. Press H away from water to drink one sip or press H while standing in water to refill it.[/]
