📋 About This Mod
Overhauls blocking behaviour (and parrying by extension) by eliminating the transition delays for Master, Trained, and Untrained levels. Blocks now trigger instantly instead of requiring a prolonged button hold.
In the vanilla game, blocking requires you to hold the button down for a fraction of a second due to a forced animation blending delay (~100ms).
This makes it incredibly difficult to react to fast enemy combos with a quick "tap" of the block button, resulting in unfair damage even when you timed your reaction perfectly.
This mod fixes that by editing the underlying transition animations to snap your NH into a block instantly.
Works with all weapons, including fists.
Installation:
Extract the .zip and place SB_P.pak, SB_P.ucas, SB_P.utoc into your Gothic 1 Remake/G1R/Content/Paks/~mods folder (create the ~mods folder if it doesn't exist).
