Fixes the dark-brown colour change when Molerats switch to their distant LODs. The normal close-range appearance remains unchanged.

  Installation

  Copy the contents of the zip into your Gothic 1 Remake folder.

  You should end up with all three files:

  ...\Gothic 1 Remake\G1R\Content\Paks\G1R_MoleratTextureFix_P.pak

  ...\Gothic 1 Remake\G1R\Content\Paks\G1R_MoleratTextureFix_P.ucas

  ...\Gothic 1 Remake\G1R\Content\Paks\G1R_MoleratTextureFix_P.utoc

  Fully close and restart the game after installing or updating the mod.

  Uninstallation

  Delete the three G1R_MoleratTextureFix_P files listed above, then restart the game. The mod does not store anything in your save.

  Compatibility

  Other mods that replace T_Lods_Molerat_D1 will conflict. Mesh-only, material-only, and gameplay-only Molerat mods should not conflict.

  Q: Will this mod affect performance or stability?

  A: The mod keeps the original optimized LOD material, 512x512 diffuse dimensions, nine-mip virtual-texture layout, shared MRAOT map, and existing shader path. It changes only compressed colour values, with no extra texture samples or high-resolution material dependency.
