Remove Fog (and white wind trails) - Clean Image

This removes most background fog and the fog filter from the game in case you don't like the effect.

I also added a version that removes the (quite intensive) white wind trails as well.

Depending on the area it has a slight FPS hit since the scenery isn't partly obstructed by fog anymore and appears much clearer.

Some areas like the bog appear (obviously) less atmospheric.

The colours change a little due to the missing fog filter but can easily be adjusted in the setting. In my case

Saturation -15

Contrast  -15

Brightness +10

How to install:

Just put the engine.ini into your

Users\\Appdata\Local\G1R\Saved\Config\Windows folder and make sure it set to "read only".

The game has a lot of options to turn off annoying effects like bloom, blur, and dov, meaning some of the commands in the .ini may be obsolete. The ones that matter are

r. VolumetricFog=0

These can also just be added to other engine.ini, in case you are using tweaked settings, stutter remover, etc.

As always: PERSONAL PREFERENCE!!! Check whether you like the visuals better. Refrain from BS comments like "This destroys the atmosphere" or "Developers intended the areas to look like this".
