OVERVIEW

Continue2Explore adds a true New Game Plus mode to Gothic 1 Remake.

The mod starts a regular fresh game, allowing the game itself to reset the story, quests, enemies and world progression. Your selected character is then transferred automatically after Diego's opening dialogue.

Use the dedicated NEW GAME+ option in the main menu. No console commands or manual character editing are required during the normal process.

  []Quest protection: Removes confirmed progression-breaking items and cleans related equipment and hotbar references.[/]

  []NG+ balance: Stronger enemies, double XP from supported non-human enemies, selected bonus loot and teacher training up to 200.[/]

  []Save-specific protection: NG+ features only activate in marked NG+ saves; normal saves remain unchanged.[/]

  TRANSFERRED PROGRESS

    []Strength, Dexterity, maximum Health and maximum Mana.[/]

    []Magic circles, learned skills and supported resistances.[/]

    []Permitted inventory items and their quantities.[/]

    Confirmed story and quest items that could break progression are excluded. Earned equipment such as the Ancient and Improved Ore Armor remains transferable.

    HOW TO START NEW GAME PLUS

    • []Finish the story and reach the real ending credits to unlock NEW GAME+.[/]

      []Keep a backup of your completed source save.[/]

      []Select NEW GAME+ in the main menu.[/]

      []Choose the completed save containing the character you want to transfer.[/]

      []Wait while the mod validates the character and starts a fresh Chapter 0 game.[/]

      []Complete Diego's opening dialogue and allow the transfer to finish.[/]

      []Once the character is fully restored and controllable, save the NG+ playthrough in a new slot.[/]

      DO NOT SAVE, LOAD, CLOSE THE GAME OR RETURN TO THE MAIN MENU WHILE THE TRANSFER IS RUNNING.

      Installed the mod after already completing the game? Load a save from before the finale and reach the real ending credits again.

      INSTALLATION
