Automatically puts teleport runes away after arriving at the destination.

Overview

Auto-Holster Teleport Runes is a small quality-of-life mod for Gothic 1 Remake.

After using a teleport rune and arriving at the destination, the player automatically puts the rune away using the game's original holster animation.

How it works

The mod listens for the game's own player teleport ability.

After the player reaches the destination, it checks whether the currently equipped item is a teleport rune derived from:

RuneItem_Teleport_BaseIf the correct rune is still equipped, the mod waits for the configured delay and then activates the normal holster animation.

Creature teleports use a different ability and do not trigger the mod.

Installation

1. Install UE4SS

Install UE4SS 3. 0. 1 or a compatible version for Gothic 1 Remake.

2. Install the mod

Copy the complete:

TeleportRuneAutoHolsterfolder into:

\G1R\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\ModsDo not copy only the files from inside the folder. The complete mod folder must be placed inside

Scripts/main.luaAvailable settings:

HOLSTER_DELAY_MS = 1500Controls how long the mod waits after arriving before putting the rune away.

The value is measured in milliseconds.

HOLSTER_DELAY_MS = 500Half a second.

HOLSTER_DELAY_MS = 1000One second.

HOLSTER_DELAY_MS = 2000Two seconds.

This is mainly useful for troubleshooting.

Compatibility and testing

I completed the entire game while using this mod and did not encounter any issues caused by it.

Safety

Removing the mod returns the game to normal.

Removing or disabling the mod

To remove the mod, delete:

\G1R\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\TeleportRuneAutoHolster
