Akula Smart Wait Anywhere - Pass Time Without Bed

AKULA SMART WAIT ANYWHERE

A quality-of-life UE4SS mod for Gothic 1 Remake that lets you pass time anywhere without needing a bed.

This mod is designed for players who want a convenient “wait” feature while exploring the world. Instead of running back to a bed just to change the time of day, you can use hotkeys to skip time or directly set the clock to morning, noon, evening or midnight.

This is not a sleep/healing mod.

It does not:

- restore health

- restore mana

- simulate sleeping in a bed

- change quests

- edit saves

- add items

- change balance

- modify NPC schedules directly

It only advances or sets in-game time using native Gothic 1 Remake time commands.

- Wait anywhere without using a bed.

- Configurable hotkeys.

- Configurable wait durations.

- Time-of-day presets.

- Cooldown protection against accidental spam.

- Optional on-screen confirmation.

- UE4SS log fallback.

- No save edits.

- No quest edits.

- No gameplay balance edits.

DEFAULT HOTKEYS

T  - Wait 30 in-game minutes

F6  - Wait 1 in-game hour

F7  - Wait 3 in-game hours

F8  - Wait 8 in-game hours

F9  - Set time to 06:00

F10 - Set time to 12:00

F11 - Set time to 18:00

F12 - Set time to 00:00

HOW IT WORKS

The wait hotkeys use the native skiptime command:

skiptime seconds

This advances in-game time forward.

The time preset hotkeys use the native setclocktime command:

setclocktime hh mm ss

This directly sets the time of day.

For example:

- T uses skiptime 1800

- F6 uses skiptime 3600

- F9 uses setclocktime 06 00 00

IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE

T / F6 / F7 / F8 = forward time skipping.

F9 / F10 / F11 / F12 = direct clock presets.

If you press F9 at night, the game will directly set the clock to 06:00. It does not simulate waiting until the next morning. If you want forward-only time passing, use the wait hotkeys instead.

INSTALLATION

Recommended:

Drag the archive into G1L and enable the mod.

Manual installation:

Place the mod folder here:

Gothic 1 Remake\G1R\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\AkulaSmartWaitAnywhere\Scripts\main.lua

If your UE4SS setup uses the old Mods folder layout, use:

Gothic 1 Remake\G1R\Binaries\Win64\Mods\AkulaSmartWaitAnywhere\Scripts\main.lua

Then add this line to mods.txt:

AkulaSmartWaitAnywhere : 1

CONFIGURATION

AkulaSmartWaitAnywhere\Scripts\config.lua

You can change:

- wait durations

- screen confirmation

- direct time presets

If T conflicts with another mod, use the included no-T profile or edit config.lua manually.

COMPATIBILITY

This mod should be compatible with most visual, gameplay, economy and performance mods.

Possible conflicts:

- other UE4SS mods using the same hotkeys

- other mods that modify or control in-game time

If a hotkey does not work, change it in config.lua.

After installation, launch the game and check UE4SS.log.

You should see:

loaded v0. 1

bound wait 30 minutes to T

Then test on a separate save:

- Press T and check if time advances by 30 minutes.

- Press F6 and check if time advances by 1 hour.

- Press F9 and check if time becomes 06:00.

If nothing happens:

- check if another mod uses the same key

- enable DebugLogging=true in config.lua

- send UE4SS.log
