Environmental Art for Loading Screens

What does this mod do?

This mod replaces the loading screens and main menu background with a variety of images from promotional material and screenshots from the Artstation portfolios of various Ubisoft employees who worked on the game. Although the original backgrounds are appropriately moody, I've spent half a decade by this point looking at them, so I figured a change of pace would be nice.

I chose backgrounds that I felt did a good job of drawing attention to the beauty and diversity of Auroa's landscapes, both natural and manmade (mostly the latter). I've left the artists' names intact on the images for credit, although they will most likely be cut off while actually playing. I have replaced all 28 loading screen backgrounds, and the main menu background.

Can I use this to make my own loading screens?

Yes! You can use Anvil Toolkit to easily modify any of the files contained within to use your own desired images. Loading screens are in the format "UI_MENU_LoadingScreen_XXX_Map", and the main menu screen is "UI_Bg_Titlepage_Map".

How do I install this?

Use Anvil Toolkit to unpack DataPC_Resources_patch_01.forge, drag these files into that folder, and then repack it. To uninstall, delete every file containing "UI_MENU_LoadingScreen", as well as "UI_Bg_Titlepage".
