New Hairstyles

Description

Adds new hairstyles as replacements. See the attached images for reference.

• []Vasily's Icon fade (replaces Curly Cut)

  []Fury's Icon braid (replaces Ponytail with no headgear, or just a headset equipped)

  []Alicia Diaz's ponytail (replaces Ponytail with hats -- WILL CLIP SEVERELY WITH CERTAIN HATS, LIKE THE BOONIE HAT)

  []Ash's chignon (replaces Bun when wearing helmets or hats -- WILL CLIP SOMEWHAT WITH CERTAIN HATS AND HELMETS)

  All the new hair types can be recoloured using the base game colours.

  Installation

  Comes prepacked as datafiles but separated into folders so that you can choose which ones you want, and modify them more easily. Install in DataPC_Resources_patch_01, as you would any other mod (refer to the description of basically any other mod page if you don't know how to do this yet), and then repack.

  Additional Notes

  I've tried my best to apply the hairstyles in such a way that allows one to use them flexibly. For example, Alicia's ponytail does not have an upper scalp model, which means that using it without a hat or helmet results in a broken model. By contrast, Fury's original braid doesn't have a model to be used with any headgear, resulting in severe clipping. Therefore, in replacing the vanilla Ponytail, the ponytail model defaults to Alicia's ponytail when using hats (such as baseball caps), Fury's braid when no headgear is equipped, and the vanilla ponytail with helmets (which doesn't clip at all).

  ASH'S BRAIDED PONYTAIL IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS. IT HAS BROKEN PHYSICS AND THE MESH FLOATS AND STRETCHES IMPROPERLY WHEN EQUIPPED.
