White Hot Night Vision as Default

Description

Gets rid of the default green night vision and thermal vision, and replaces them with the white-hot night vision previously exclusive to the Pathfinder class.

Works with any NVG set (including without any NVGs), and any class.

How This Works

First, this mod enables the conditions for the Pathfinder-exclusive thermal vision to be used outside of the class by editing "DBBooleanStatDescriptor_CanUseWhiteHot. DBBooleanStatDescriptor" to remove all additional conditions for activating the mode. This can be used independently of either or both of the other two edits.

Then, it disables the vanilla night vision and thermal modes independently by editing the perks (DBPerkLIH_MODE) directly. These can also be used independently of each other, and the edit that adds the Pathfinder vision mode.

Installation

This mod goes in DBContainer, which means that there will possibly be conflicts that cause immediate CTDs if you don't install it properly.

Before you install these files, search your DBContainer and take note of the existing entries with the same names as the ones in this mod:

  []DBPerkLIH_NightVision. DBPerk

• DBPerkLIH_ThermalVision. DBPerk

  Change the numbers in front of this mod's files to match the existing ones inside your DBContainer folder, and then install them by OVERWRITING the existing ones.

  NOTE: If for whatever reason you want to keep one or the other or both of the original green NV and/or the original thermal vision, do not install the respective DBPerk files with the associated names.

  Notes

  I haven't tested how this may work on a new game and am frankly not very interested in doing so. However, if anyone is interested in doing so, feel free to report results.

  This includes and naturally overrides the edit that ufotofu99's No thermal vision makes and, from what I can tell, the two mods function in an identical manner.
