✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 165 endorsements and 6,878 downloads, showing solid support
- Highly customizable—you pick exactly which popups to hide, so you can keep the ones you like
- Actively maintained (last updated May 2025), so it's likely compatible with current game patches
⚠️ Cons
- Requires manual INI editing and HUD Mod Loader setup, which might intimidate casual modders
- No uninstall instructions provided—you'll need to figure out how to revert changes yourself
- Only hides popups; doesn't offer any other UI tweaks, so it's a one-trick pony
For Fallout 76 players who are tired of screen clutter during combat and want a cleaner HUD without losing important info. If you're a completionist who likes seeing every quest reward, this might not be for you—but if you want to focus on the action, it's a great pick. Skip if you're looking for a full UI overhaul; this only handles popups.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure to install HUD Mod Loader first and follow its instructions exactly, or Fanfare Free won't work.
- After extracting the zip, double-check that FanfareFree.ba2 is listed in sResourceArchive2List in Fallout76Custom.ini—missing this is a common mistake.
- Test each popup setting one at a time in-game to see what you prefer, rather than disabling everything at once.
