Frigid Outskirts Fix (SOTFS)

Originally there are 7 possible spawn locations for this enemy, and the snowstorm makes them respawn indefinetely. Also if the player is too slow to kill the first ones, others will spawn making things very annyoing. This mod is for those who just want to enjoy the game, makes 3 reindeers appear in the whole area, instead of an endless sequence of enemies, now you can explore, loot and fight the Faraam Knights without any inconveniences.

  • []Reindeers appears like a normal enemy that can be see at distance, instead of being spawned during the snowstorm. The side effects are low fps animations when far from the player, and particles appearing too far, before the models and textures.

  • May broke things, needs to be tested on a playthrough.

    Installation:

    You can use UXM to unpack the game, patch the executable to load unpacked files, and then overwrite the files inside the param folder

    You also can use BinderTool to unpack GameDataEbl.bdt, overwrite the files in the param folder inside the generated GameDataEbl folder and repack it using SotFS Level Editor and Repacker

    Don't forget to make a Backup
