implementing that would take significantly more effort than anticipated.

[
]Yellow number (if shown) = FOV the game tried to apply (blocked).Padlock open (unlocked):

- [

[]Find this mod’s actions and bind keyboard or controller buttons.

Why this matters
The game changes FOV dynamically, and it does it a lot. With this mod you can see those shifts live, which makes the scope of the problem obvious. How disruptive it feels depends on your preferred FOV in the Graphics settings. If you play at 80, you might barely notice, because the game often snaps back to 80 anyway. But if you prefer 90 or higher, sudden drops to 80 can be jarring and break immersion. It feels like an extreme zoom you never asked for.
Known issues while the lock is active
-
[]Map icons do not move when you pan the map.
[]V appears smaller than usual in Inventory or Character Creator.
[]Holo-call partners are displayed smaller than normal.
- V is not rendered correctly in mirrors.
-
[]Cyan number = current FOV (updates with the game).

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Simple, focused purpose: see and lock your FOV.
- Decent download count (5,760) shows real demand.
- Actively maintained (last updated December 2025).
⚠️ Cons
- Low endorsement count (73) suggests limited community validation.
- May not work with all games or mod configurations—test before relying on it.
For players who hate when games force FOV changes during cutscenes, aiming, or movement. If you're a purist who wants your exact FOV at all times, this is for you. Skip if you don't care about FOV consistency or play games that never alter it.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Check if your game has built-in FOV lock options before using this mod—might be redundant.
- Test in a cutscene or scripted sequence to see if the lock actually holds.
- If the mod doesn't work, verify your game version and look for updates.
